Perched high in the hills of Montclair this beautiful white Colonial is afforded amazing views of New York City on many level of this multi-level home.  Being friends of RTH Building Co., the clients came to RTH because they trusted the attention to detail and vision for stunning work when undertaking their complete kitchen, first floor and bathroom makeover.  The hope was to attain a Scandinavian inspired pallet of clean lines, natural woods, soft whites, and a focus on the natural beauty surrounding the home.  In total, RTH did a complete renovation of the client’s kitchen, a large custom deck off the back, as well as the floors and a set of bathrooms.  Pushing for a more Scandinavian design, the client did a bleached clear coat on the floors that lightened the interiors throughout.  To accentuate this feel, the walls were painted a Decorator’s white, the cabinets a light taupe color, and a gorgeous Calcutta marble was installed.  Small accents of brass, woods, and black sophisticated the sun-drenched space fit for entertaining.
